If you read l2hell's post He said "might" be what you are looking for? Your reply comes across a little bit blunt. Not intentional hopefully. mbunamad
what ever happened to tubifex worms? seems they're out of style now. Many years ago I fed live tubifex worms to my Malawis. I bought them from Pet Country @ Slacks Creek. I had to keep them in an ice cream container under a dripping tap when wasting water was no big deal! Have you seen where they come from? Human poo septic tanks and who knows what other foul places. I was a noob back then and I wouldn't feed them now unless I knew where they came from via a reputable supplier. As a matter of fact I now feed live blackworms to my Bettas and wouldn't want tubifex.
bluebelle
I'm not after grindal. I'm after white worms. They are a lot bigger. But white. PLEASE let me know if you find any! White worms used to be available (starter cultures) everywhere in pet shops years ago, as they are excellent fish food. Slowly they became harder to find, as white worms don't like heat, the culture just dies off. Now nobody seems to have any. So good luck with your search! Farmboy99
Bump, cos I need live foods too. You can shovel tubifex worms from under any of the leaky pumps in the Capalaba sewage stations. All it takes is to know someone with a key and a confined space ticket. l2h
and that is why tubifex have gone out of favour compared to blackworms tubifex carry too much bacteria in them you can also find tubifex in ponds around dairy farm sheds the common factor is poo
