grubby
Bought this Chinese green glazed pot at Auction for nix. Sealed up the drain holes with aqua knead IT . Placed in garden, added water. Water Lillies, Guppy grass for spawning and Red Stemmed Thalia for effect. Will leave it for a week to mellow and acquire some aquatic life and then will add some Rhads or Blue Eyes.
mbunamad
You bought it but it cost nix? I like some of the stuff you do. Good imagination. I also like to experiment so chucked a 40 litre plastic Bunnings tub in the back garden and filled it with water. 30 degree day = 38 degree water. I moved it under the shade of some trees. Hopefully the water temp will be more realistic.

I thought it was more polite than Bugger all or Sweet Fcuk All. Don't be such a pedant.
grubby
Yeah you have to have plenty of shade for these small bodies of water or they cook. My first pot pond at home, my wife made me put it in the confines of the Pool area, so my toddler daughter couldn't get into trouble with it (HOW ???, bloody nurses !!) and it has no shade and cooks, only thing that can survive in there are Paradise fish. Or try to get air to it.

GotCrabs
I got a 109l tub sitting in a railway sleeper garden bed with plants all around it, have filled, put some Water Wisteria in there and Ambulia, see how it goes before adding anything in there.
