Cormac
Tank is about 3 months old, have 5 tiger barbs, a leopard pleco and a rainbow shark. Any suggestions appreciated for compatible fish to add. New to this game btw. Was thinking clown loaches x2. Want to keep everyone in tank happy. Got 6 tiger barbs to start with. I know they should be kept in groups of 6 or more but is this just tiger barbs in general or specific types. Will other barbs such as couple cherry barbs plus 5 tiger barbs do the trick. Thanks Cormac

aquatic lover
Hi In my opinion, I would increase the tiger barbs numbers up to 10 and even look at combine with other barbs such as clown barbs, gold barbs or other medium size barbs. Suggestion watch out on the rainbow shark because I had to remove the shark when the shark tried to fight with my large barbs. On other tank mates I would look at loaches, danios and other fast moving fish. Wish you all the best.
Cormac
That's for the replies. Ill check up on the fish suggested and be getting some this week some time. The shark is already chasing barbs occasionally hope it doesn't become as problem later as he is tiny, still smaller than the barbs atm.
