planting a native aquarium

hey all I'm looking at planting my 4ft tank, it is home to my sooty grunter and would like a natural appearance, not overplanted or anything just a nice simple mix of plants

hi i dont know much about  sooty grunter but i would keep the fake plants and just look around for more  thats all i have in my 6 ft

Vallisneria, cambola, elodea, hydrilla, bladderwort, hornwort, lillies, water milfoil, heaps of other natives and pests are readilly found in our creeks and look great in an aquarium.
