Texas Cichlid HELP

Recommended Posts

I have 1 male and 1 female texas cichlid alone in a 4 foot tank and the male won't stop trying to kill the female . They are divided at the moment and no matter how long I wait ( they've been divided for months ) he still tries to kill her . The water parameters and temp are all perfect . What can I do to make them pair up.

Thank you. Jesse

Could also be both males.

Why don't you get another tank and another pair as this will double your chance of success.

Growing up 6 - 8 fish together will also increase your chances of success.

And if you can't find compatible pairs, you can breed them through a tank divider.
