Preybird MKII Posted November 23, 2009 Report Share Posted November 23, 2009 Morning all, I would like to know what would make good tank mates for Pictus catfish. I like the looks of these little guys, but don't want to go putting them in somewhere that will be an all-they-can-eat banquet. I have been told they can be a pretty aggressive little fish and will prey on others at night, but I have also seen some in a tank with some other tropicals like YoYos. Pictus will go in with anything with moderate aggression, african cichlids are fine, along with larger tropicals. Anything that will fit in their mouth they will eat, greedy little buggers.
