Hey all, i have come home from work and fed my cichlids, whilst watching them eat i noticed the eye of on one of them is massive. Any ideas on what it is or how to treat it.

Thanks

Do you have test kits, Check your water parameters , your nitrates might be up

When was your last water change...?

I would go with a couple of large water changes in a row over the next couple of days and i would expect it will shrink back down on its own

Let us know your results of your tests = Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate

That will help us identify if something else is the issue

Cheers

looks like pop eye your water conditions seem good but the ammonia needs to be lower than that the best way to fix ammonia is to use ammonia lock or zealete if u do water changes things should get better speak to donny from the age of aquariums
