LAJC2012
Well i went away yesterday and left my little babies and come back to most of my fry dead. Now all the levels where good but i guess it was that hot this w/end caused them to pass on (poor little things ) Suggestions for best way to keep your cool tank while you are away in summer. Any ideas.... Leanne
shon982
well i keep the lid off my tanks and increase surface tension but this also leads to alot of evaporation ive got fry in a tank as well and they've been alright so far

Rod
Warm water holds less oxygen than cool water.....this is what kills fish in warm weather You can buy a chiller or keep tank in a air conditioned room....or do what they do in Asia Lots of airstones to ensure the water has max oxygen content
