briztoon
Hey guys, Don't know if anyone else has seen any available, but I saw some juvenile, wild cuaght oscars today. Very nice looking fish, and your can certainly see the difference between wild cuaght and multi-generation bred fish. Different shape to them, very nice finage, and much more attitude and agression about them. A little expensive at $80 each, but if I was into Oscars, they'd be on my wish list. crazyD
everybody should know that wild oscars will not be able to be kept in a tank with any other oscars once maturity has been reached(1year aprox) unless its a pair and even then no garantee. very angry fish.lol I do have 3 big convicts with one and the oscar will go all 3 in a gang attack no prob. crazyD
depends on what size tank you plan on keeping them in, on whether I tell you or not....Yep! I'm a tank nazi! sori dude not planning on setting up another ice cream container yet.lol na jokes aside the smallest tank i have one oscar in at the moment is a 3X2X2 with 10X turn over per hour filtration. Have 2 wild oscars at the moment one by itself as it has anger problems, and another with two fully grow convicts(2m,1f). nice fish that dont show signs of much human interaction. for get to add that the oscars in question are only 7-8inch at the moment..not fully grown.lol
japes
Do I really need to remind members to keep conversations civil? Clayton your original response that sparked the little argument and subsequent PM's had nothing to do with the topic anyway.
