red splotches and a bump on clown loach

I have a communal tank and have noticed that one of the clown loaches have a bumb on its head and is getting like a blochy redness around his head. His notrils are swollen and are red rimmed as well, he is swimming in circles, upside down then rightside up then upside down again. There is a pleco in the tank as well, i thought the pleco had chopped him with a spike (which sometimes happens)but this has gotten worse all day. I will try to post a photo asap.

put some malefix in the tank after reading some of the other postings, the red splotches are going away and he is starting to swim normaly again, also the bump on his head is going down.
