cycindahead
The fighters have called a truce and now sit in their ornaments all the time. If I rouse them up for a feed the dont seem that interested. I took their heater out, the temp is still in the green, so I dont think if thats the problem. Their fins stay down and the stay in a diagonal position when coming up for a feed. What am I to do? Any help is always appreciated, and if you turn up on the 13th I may even shout you a beer for your help. Tony
Rod
If they are males....give them a mirror to fight with! Feed some live food....Blackworms or mossie larva Add ketapang leaves(natural antiseptic) just in case they have velvet.....Fishchick (at Annerley) has them. That's a start! cycindahead
Thanks Rod, They are males that share a divided tank, so they see each other through the plastic plant "curtain". We purchased our latest one through fishchicks, (support the supporters) and grabbed some leaves then. They just seem lethargic, its the only symptom they display. I owe you a beer. mad-n-angry
tony they will be come accustomed to each other and as was suggested a mirror then they see a new fish as well as the good old neighbour and will flare up a bit more often for you

Chicklet
I assume you do regular water changes, Alot of people have the idea betta's don't need frequent water changes, which they do if you want them to be healthy and live a long prosperous fish life.
