whiteknight Posted December 13, 2009 Report Share Posted December 13, 2009 Hey i'm after a black substrate for my african cichlid display tank i have a layer of cal carb in it and would like to mix some black gravel ( small fine gravel not sand ) in with the cal carb to get a black and white effect , does anyone know a good type of gravel to mix in with it ? Also any type of black sand as if i cant find what i am after will just change it all to a black sand ( hopefully some type that will help buffer the water as well as i'm on rainwater ) any help would be great Terry Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
