alice
Anyone got any suggestions how to make the process of leaching quicker?? I put some new wood (gold vines) looks like tea. the bits are too big to boil. soaked them in an old bath tub for about 2 weeks before I put em in tank, but still leaching. damo83
Purigen is excellent for removing tanins from the tank water... it can be regenerated once it gets old too so its last ages. Should be available at most good aquarium shops. http://www.seachem.com/Products/product ... rigen.html
mad-n-angry
bleach or pool chlorine the chlorine is better as once u take the wood from the water the sun will kill the chlorine off
