When I lived in the UK I fed my fish on Daphnia and Cyclops, I often had Hydra in the tanks,

the best way to get rid of them is as follows.

Get two pieces of copper pipe about a inch long cut them to make squares, connect

a length of thin electric cable to each piece, then connect the electric cable to a 4 volt

battery, place them each end of the tank leave for 4 hours, Hydra all dead,

.

I have used this in a tank containing Corydorus fry with no problems.

Hey Mick

Panacur 25 is not hard to get and its an off the shelf item at any produce stores.

You can also go to any vet and buy as much as you need as they stock it in large bottles but its very dear from vets to buy.

Remember it's 1ml per 40 litres of water dosage.
