Barmy
hey everyone. attached are two pictures of my current 3ft peppermint breeding tank. as you can see i've got lots of logs, all of which have a hollow section for hiding. as well as a breeding log, which i've faced towards the back so the male will be completely undisturbed while he's in there. in there at the moment is a peppermint trio i got a few days ago. just wondering if this set up looks about right for making them happy, and if there's anything else i should add/do to help them settle in and get to baby-making? I'm thinking of putting a towel over the tank so that its darker for them, as well. is this a good idea?
alexc2005
common setups have the breeding logs only by including the other logs your just providing a distraction from the task at hand... I had a peppermint pair in 2ft with lots of objects and it seemed like they never bothered with the mating, im guessing because they were too distracted. Most people just have front facing logs and nothing else
