Talpha
Hi guys, I found these rocks down the road and thought they would look great as display rocks in my Frontosa tank. It seems they were dug up. Im worried because they have that orange/yellow/cream colour layered over them. And you can scrub a lot and it will slowly wash of a little bit. It seems that its a layer thats formed over them somehow? You can see in the photos where the rock has been chipped and it reveals the nice deep blue colour. Will it leach into the water? Looks like some of the rocks are rusting? Im really not sure of rocks =) Also Im aware of fronts getting startled and running into everything. If they are safe they will be made frontosa skittish safe as well lol. Cheers guys, Chris

mattstevens
I would say no. Judging by fact that it washes slightly, and its colour, I would say that there might be some iron in the rock that is rusting.
