Cichlidae
I am gunna be honest..... Beautiful tank healthy fish shame about all the plastic rubish in the tank. Sorry, not into artificial stuff. If you ever want to convert to real decor I have a great contact for timber (licensed). I collect rock exclusively from a private property. and well sand and gravel is everywhere. I hope you are happy with your display, as beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I am just an opinionated pr%ck! Great work and the dedication and hours do show regardless of personal tastes! C. Cichlidae
I breed not display, But heres a steup i did for a customer 258 litre corner tank, Malawi cave biotype, salt n pepper gravel, unplanted, custom filtration (3500lph)and starting fish. Note the grey filter, this is a bacterior loaded hire filter for quick establishment of tank and is now removed. filtration hose now sits straight up the back corner, after hire filter removal and adjustment. The customer is ecstatic I also maintain this tank, and just readjusted the rock formation, looks even better now. full.JPG[/attachment:16rlldz2] Close_up.JPG[/attachment:16rlldz2] Have more if you want. Cichlidae
Maintenance takes 20 mins a week on that tank. with an hour strip out every 6th maintenance visit.
hasu12
nice tank . personally i don't like tank with just rocks pile up . they kinda look like 5 year old kid did it? . I thought we just talking about ornaments in the tank not filtration. Is it about who got bigger filtration (remind me of car forums "i got the bigger turbo") and for ur info i got 6080L/H filtering sytem atm .And i don't do this for a living. Cichlidae
Thats a customers tank, not a competition. the display is designed to display the fish not the rocks, the rock structure is merely presentable homing to instigate a happier tank, it is designed for super quick maintenance as the customer didnt want to be cleaning his tank for an hour a week (I now cleanit for him, he lasted 2 months). I am sure I am entitled to an opinion and just said I dont like plastic rubbish in tanks. I believe I also said that your tank and fish looked great, happy and healthy. so sorry if my distaste of plastic ornaments is not what you were looking for. if it makes you feel better I will lie instead, Wow what amazing decore I have never seen decore like that before you truely are a guru! comon mate its just an opinion, doesnt change the fact that you look at it all day not me. if you put things on the internet and ask for comments you will get comments, you didnt ask for only nice and happy comments. I am sure I also commented on the time and dedication involved with a beautifull tank and setup like that. so be hurt about your plastic ornaments, that doesnt bother me. I am however sory if I have offended you by leaving an honest comment. C
