HereFishieFishie
Don't know about all you lot.... But my pet hate about this hobby is the reliance on the filters & shit we use. In the space of the last 3 weeks, I have had 2 internals, 2 air pumps completely stuff themselves. Today when I took apart the canister filter, the clips that hold the impellor... well one is gone :whoa: the other is just hanging there :urgh: So of course once cleaned out, re jacked up... clicking. :hothead: yes, I can get parts, just sick to death ...... Not as if fluval is a cheap brand either. & this canister hasn't been taken apart in like a year. Well i feel better now, got that off my chest. they just don't make them like they used too. On the bright side, I haven't lost a fish. Common sense taught me one thing, each tank has a back up, for moments like these. Matt_Cichlids
Hey mate I have had the same problem with the Fluval Impellor covers had 3 break in 1 weekend when i did a filter clean on my tanks and at $25 a pop u get sick of replacing them, you just have to be so careful pulling them off and clipping them back on, not a very good design in my opinion!! Cheers Matt
IronMonkey
I do agree tho... specially concerning things like canisters, air pumps and water pumps... can be going one minute and stuffed the next... even if u dont touch it...
