it has only affected and killed one fish i have been treating it with salt and 30 degrees in the tank but still killed my salmontailed cattie.

none of the other fish seem to have it, can i use multi-cure???

what else can i do to make sure it doesn't come back???

I would suggest using protozin, this is not harmful to scaless fish, and will not eliminate your good bacteria in your filter. Still keep the temperature up whilst treating, making sure that their is plantly of airation and turn all lights off during the treatment. Treat on days 1,2,3 & 6, leave for 2 days, then water change again, all whitespot should be gone.

It is not cheap, however it is great stuff. A good 30% water change would be reccomended prior to treatment.

Multi Cure can sometimes burn scaless fish, hence it is suggested to use at half the dose (only working half as hard).
