Nice shots mate.

Did you find the Fluro setting helped with the colouration?

cheers mate, it does make a difference for sure, but i think it gives a little blue hue to the shots

Hey George,

do you use manual or auto focus?

Im no expert but here are a few things i would try.. Use Manual focus, its important to get the eye in focus. Try a slightly faster shutter speed, it will freeze the movement and you will get a sharper pic) and an aperture around the mid range of what the lense is capable of (will capture the most detail). try these few things next time and show us what you come up with.

Looking good mate!!

Try using manual focus as well it can be a bit tricky at first but its easy after a few practices it will become easy..

Have you started playing around with the flash yet? if not press menu, then go across to camera 2 down to the flash exp comp then tone it down to around -1. this should make the colours on the fish stand out and they wont be washed out by the bright flash. Another trick is to use a peice of tissue paper over the flash to diffuse it.

Awesome George!

a slightly slower shutter speed would have given you a bit more detail (and light). i always try to use the slowest shutter speed possible (without the subject going blurry). because the longer the shutter is open the more detail it captures.. also to get the clearest pics with your zoom lense keep it zoomed at halfway.

here is a good site if you want to learn. they can be a bit harsh sometimes on there but its all constructive criticism..
