IronMonkey
hey guys.. Was thinking about throwing my Pepps and O/Spots in with my JD fry.. b/nose are around the 6-9cm mark and the JD fry are around 5-6mm (1/2cm) My question is: Will the b/nose eat the fry at night while the fry are sleeping on the bottom? Or being that the fry are free swimming, it shouldnt matter? any advice appreciated.. Jay
fishbee
hi jay.. though i never tried it, but from observation of cichlid and catfishes, chichlid are mostly day fish, and catfishes are the opposite they are more active when the light out, so dont underestimate catfishes cleaning power.... they'll mow down anything on their path, wheter they are sleeping babies or even dead or gravely injured fish. my caties cleaned half of my bass when i got home.
