Peter
Hi This may be off topic somewhat but the following link gives you a range of meds available for fish with different symptoms in a very well set out table. Make sure any meds you use are suitable for bristlenose and dose carefully according to instructions. smiley
take the temp to over 30 as soon as possible and keep there for 7-10 days this temp will not hurt the fish I had it on my L numbers and had no dramas no medication most whitespot cures have copper which is deadly to bristle noses peter
Peter
Also be aware that with any temp raising you need to ensure there is also an increase in oxygenisation. Make sure you keep us informed of the outcome. Good luck.

Braddo
I would use the cpv whitespot cure which active ingredient is formaldahyde(spelling wrong) at half dose for bn's. I would never raise the temperature in a bristlenose tank especially not again. These guys really cannot handle temps over 28 they lose their slime coat allowing secondary infections to take hold. Take this from my own experience after losing a large number of bn's in a short period of time due to 30 degree water. Please note though that if the spots are already numerous it may be too late. The worst part about white spot it can attack the gills and cause damage to them.
