djdl
The light on my 3 foot tank has carked it. I thought it was just the starters but sadly it's the whole thing. Just wondering how long I can leave the tank with only natural light? It's been about a week now and I'd prefer to hold off till the Bay Fish trip next week to see if Russ has anything I can pick up. dem0n
it's only really plants that require regular lighting as far as i know... i have a tank of demasonis that has no live plants & it only gets reflected sunlight (& not very much) & the fish thrive. i don't even have a light for that tank. so i'd say it's safe to wait if you have no plants in the tank. if you do have live plants they will start wilting after a few days if they have no light. djdl
Thanks mate. No plants in there so I guess it'll be safe for a while yet.
