damo83
To heat 100+ tanks you'd probably be better off insulating and heating the whole fishroom rather than each tank. As for the pump i'd probably go with a few smaller pumps to run sections of your fishroom rather than 1 to run the whole lot. That way if a pump dies you don't lose circulation on all the tanks... aquaholic99
Fan forced gas room heater is what most people use. I recommend Rinnai personally as they have a digital rheostat which is quite accurate. Grundfos inline pumps also get a plug from me as they are popular, quiet and the most economical pump I know of, while maintaining respectable head heights. I also recommend a big airpump with box/sponge filters as backup even if you do have central filtration. Very economical and great peace of mind. If you have a large fishroom, get two airpumps both running off the same central line as the diaphrams will eventually fail. You will immeadiately notice if one is not running yet all tanks can still get air till you repair. If you get as particular about this as I do then I also recommend running different electrical circuits for power in your fish room. At least two seperate ones.
