Turn your tap on to a constant run.

Get a bucket that has a capacity of say 20 litres.

Time how long with a stop watch it takes to fill the bucket.

Then put the hose in the tank and time how long it takes to fill the tank to the desired level.

Then calculate from your times how many litres.

eg. Bucket takes 40 seconds to fill. ( 30 litres a minute )

Tank takes 12.50 minutes to fill.

12.50 x 30 = 375 litres.

These are just examples you'll have to time these your self.

People may do it different. But this has worked for me.

Just check and double check your calculations.

=) Happy calculating.

they're big tanks....600cm? you sure. its a swimming pool right? lol

I'm sure you mean 60cm.

length x width x height gives you volume :)

length x width x height divided by 1000 gives you volume

well Tank83 length (cm) x width(cm) x height(cm) still gives you volume but in millilitres.

1000 ml = 1 litre

So, to convert your answer to litres divide by 1000 :)
