Loosing JD fry

Recommended Posts

what sort of current are they having to swim against AND what sort of feeding are they getting (amount/type/frequency)

sometimes it can just be a case of them getting exhausted

air powered sponge filters are very useful

as not only is it a gentle current

but fry can pick food from the sides of them

Hello again guys, Update:

I have had 2 more batches of fry and all have died again between week 1 and 2. I am feeding fry food (hikari) 2-3 times a day. I have a sponge filter so there is no current. They are in the tank by themselves. Not sure what happening. I have a heater in the tank with the temp a constant 26 degrees. HELP!!

Thanks, Cam.

Not from Sarah1234 directly, but they are from forum member in brisbane so it is possible, why would that matter?

Thanks, Cam.
