msc0433
Yay my wife has given me permission to cut a big hole in the wall(between the living room and my fish tank room) to put a 6 footer into the wall. It looks like we have to get builder to let us know if the wall is a load bearing wall as it may be more difficult then. The only downfall is that if I go ahead I loose a lot of my tanks in the fish tank room as it backs onto the fish tank wall so a lot of the width of the wall tank will be in this room. I am hoping to get a 6x2.5x2.5 in the wall and then picture frame the side in the living area. Has anybody on this sight done this before and if so do you have any tips or do and donts for this project. Any info appreciated. Thanks. flump
Have a look at this: Took me three months to put it together, probably slightly different to what you're doing though Edited May 13, 2011 by flump
