florix
Has anybody encountered one of these little fellas? I just noticed one in my tank and want to know what's the best way to get it out? I noticed it in the skimmer section of the sump. If I get a fairy wrasse will it eat it up really quick or will it get hit by the skimmer first? I have CBS in the display but it's 1.9m long and I am just thinking it will take them ages to find it. I can completely empty the skimmer section of water and top it back up but I am also thinking he will survive no water for a long time. Can somebody help me on this one please? Turbo
Yer I had one in my display tank, I just got a thin piece of wire poked down the hole and killed him.
florix
True. What did you do about the hole? I have looked at all the silicon on the entire setup and can't find a hole, which is good but now I can't find the worm lol
DeadFishFloating
is this in an all in one setup like a max tank?
Turbo
The hole didn't go all the way through the silicon so I just left it, how do you know the worm you saw was a borer.
florix
I don't know it's just that's what reefpedia said lol. I hope I am wrong?? Re:Deadfishfloating It's a custom setup. The display is 1.9x0.47x0.47 with a split sump and four sections. In total the ump is 5 foot long and 400mm wide with a marine sources SDC-900, fuge, FBF and a 4000LPH return and about 15000LPH water circulation in display and 3 LED lights and a home made cabinet that stands about 6.4' high.
