hi guys, i am considering buying a number of young frontosa to grow up into a breeding colony. i am just wondering which variation is recommended to breed (looks god, sells good and breeds good). thanks guys

i reckon when you get w/c f1 f2 etc etc,its all bull cause your changing there diet anyway and the old saying goes you are what you eat,same goes with fish,as far as im concerned all fronnys are stunning,but tank bred is tank bred simple as that.

I agree but there are diffirences in quality.

Ive bred Burundis and Mimpimbwes

Burundis were cool - awesome to watch especially the male i had which was atleast 31cm

Mimpimbwes - they are very skitish :P but also cool to watch =D!

There's heaps of variants but the 3 main very different looking ones the Burundi, Moba and Kigoma

Otherwise, all the zaires look the same

The variation arises from the different locations the fish are collected from

sometimes only like 2km away and there isn't much difference at all but people love bragging about it
