Hi,

Long time viewer, first time poster

Here's a couple of pics of my neolamprologus caudopunctatus. This guy is about 4cm and he's living with his gf in my display* tank (*fairly scratched) with a couple of different species.

he's got his warning stripes out in the second photo cause they just spawned and he's guarding the fry

I too used to breed these guys, when you get a good pair of parents they will do all the work in regard to keeping the young alive.

Awesome attitude when spawning, they would fight off an oscar if they had to, make sure you keep the water ph nice and high as the fry will develop kinked tails as they grow if the water ph is too low.

Fantastic fish good to see someone enjoying them.

Yeah brocksracer, they're from rosequoll :)

Thanks for the advice dave. I'm using tang buffer so ph is up at 8.6

It seems like these fellas are starter fish, maybe one day i'll get something bigger :)

I have a breeding pair of these that have just given me a second batch of fry. Awsome little fish, they are my fav!!! Im hoping this batch will be fine as i have them now in a fry saver in the tank, as with yours my first lot got eaten in the community tank.
