Is this the most expensive plant you have seen

Recommended Posts

Yeah, but 13.00 for post on something that wieghs less than the envelop rip off post to start with.

FREIGHT: A FLATE RATE $12.99

NO ADDITIONAL COST FOR EXTRA ITEMS PURCHASED

NO HIDDEN COST OR HANDLING FEES

POSTAGE INSURANCE IS AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED

Regardless on what you are purchasing the most you will ever pay for postage is $12.99

(This also covers packaging in sealed plastic bags and foam boxes to ensure your plants arrive in premium condition)

Have bought bucket loads from Liverpool and they are always amazing quality, incredibly inexpensive and never available in most LFS unless they specialise in planted tanks. With their rare plants, they are damn rare, doubt you'd ever find any of the same anywhere else in the country.

Why don't you give the seller a best offer?? :)

By the way guys, I am the seller for this plant! it has taken me 3 years to find this species and finally have one for sale.

Regarding to Postage it is a flat rate!

It cost $10.00-$10.50 to send with Toll Priority as they're a lot more reliable compared to Australia Post

Packaging- brandnew foam box $3.25. I cut these up to fit accordingly with satchel..

To be honest I think $13 for Freight is fair. I don't allow the cost for plastic bags/rubberbands/ tapes etc.

Just like fish really, if you want the really rare ones (which are the cool ones cause no one else has them) you will pay for it, I wouldn't put them in a guppy display, but there are some really awesome looking planted tanks out there.

P.S I have paid more for plants & when I got it, it was all dried out, chopped up and in little baggies.

What must be remembered......................This plant can be compared to a high quality racehorse...............rare, and capable of producing "blue" blood stock. The moment you part company with it, you are giving the purchaser an opportunity to produce offspring/runners that only you, previously had control over. You are giving away your ability to control a market...............with sole rights, you have sole control of price.............you are selling your sole rights and the price reflects not only the rarity of the plant, but the potential for the purchaser to have some control over it's subsequent/future rarity ie price

Yea your right, with the sale brings the opportunity to be the first to profit, I know of a member who re-tiled his house with the first real successful breeding of cuckoo's.

P.S Thanks Di for back linking QLDAF, really helps with our google ranking, shows you still lurk aswell ;)

wow that is quite expensive for a plant :s

Not just quite expensive but bloody expensive but maybe worth it for someone else out there.

Definately that is not for me.

That's not bad in term of post.

Lol for the lurking comment.

Anyways this plant is bloody awesome.

Jeff's plants are of the highest quality and after buying well over 600 or 700 dollars worth I can safely say I would NEVER buy elsewhere other than Jagdeep on another forum who sells nice eriocaulons. Jeff's communication, after sale support with any questions and growing inquiries and his general KINDNESS is something that cannot be found in today's society. He is doing wonders for the planted tank guys in Australia and for anyone wanting plants for their planted tank, look no further than to buy from Jeff at Liverpool Creek Aquariums. You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

But if i was to buy 1 bunch of val from a shop there not going to charge me for the bag or rubber ,so that shouldnt have anything to do with it because its ebay people think you should probally pay them too lick the stamp too?

In your favour ,least its a flat rate for more than .

Seriously? You think the cost of their rent, their bags, their bands aren't all costed into the price you pay? You think they pay all their expenses out of their own pocket just for the love of sharing a bunch of plants with you? lol :)))

Besides - you have used your fuel and your energy to go to the shop and pick it up so there is no need for them to charge postage.... If you asked them to send it to you you would be paying extra.

I,m definatly not knocking liverpool creek aquariums. From what i have read on this post and other forums i will definatly be buying plants from them in the future. As for postage i think that is a fair price.I won,t buy just 1 plant and pay $13 just like i don,t buy 1 lot of fish food from aoa and pay $7.50.Ill wait till i have a good list of what i need and then buy to make it worthwhile.I just haven,t seen a plant that expensive before and was interested in seeing more knowledgable peoples opinions.

Cheers Leigh

How many people are honestly going to buy just one plant off ebay (or even in a shop)? Even with the cheapest postage it probably wouldn't be worth it. I think a flate rate no matter how much you order is awesome and I wish more ebayers did that - I'd certainly buy more plants off ebay if that were the case!
