holden1862
I'll be setting up my new tank 5x2x2 and was going to put some Ikola blue frontosa in it. How many would be fine for the tank. I was think 6-8 juvies. I will upgrade tank year or so down the track if needed to but was wondering I'd tank size is fine for the fish. Also what sort of Filter should I run on this. I won't be running a sump so it will be a canister and an eheim internal. Will have either sand or fine substrate about 1" thick with assorted rocks and tiny bit on driftwood with Anubis on it. Does this all sound fine? Thank you for input
guest 11
If your going to upgrade get the filter that will suite the future tank so you don't have to buy 2 filters? Fx5 is an awesome canister filter
ash
I've seen other members breeding colonies of fronts happily breeding away in that size tank, personally I'd have an 8x2x2 and 4ft sump. But, fx5 would be canister of choice... I'd use 1 on a 6ftr and 2 on an 8 ftr
holden1862
Current 5 foot tank has an aquis 1250 and an eheim internal 2012. Guessin I will have to change the canister to something around double that size?
