guest 11
About to set up a sump trying to find cheap way to set it up
Thalion
what species is the sump for? Why not both? Bioballs will provide more area for good bacterial growth, shell grit will have more effect on the water chemistry.

Craigo
Better read up on how to keep you water dude & what you want to breed in that water before you commit to certain things. Little suckers wont be happy in a hight PH possible hard water setup & little catties that arnt happy dont donald duck....no babies. Sorry Have a search of the site for 'breeding bristlenose' there should be heaps of info about desireable conditions. Have fun
