brockssracer
if it was the only filter on the tank a 2213 min. but 1000lph would do it nice and keep it crystal clear. id say using spray bars on them as well to keep the flow down a lil. FIIK
Im with brock, Ehiem 2213 would be great. Redlands Pet Centre is doing great prices on them atm.
pony-tail
I would suggest - Fluval 105 Aqua-One CF500 or CF700 or Eheim 2213 if funds are available I believe 1000 LPH would be ridiculously excessive on an 18 inch tank and would cause too much current for Angels or Tetras
holden1862
2113 but im worried about to much water flow Aswell, fish will be getting swept away ;-)

discus_noob
I use 2215s on 45cm x 30cm x 35cm tanks and do not have any issues. I also use a 2215 on a 40cm cube too. I would maybe try the 2215 or 2213
028NVD
id say slightly over filter, maybe an fx5, otherwise 2213
holden1862
Oh yeah I'm sure an fx5 would be great in this little tank.
