HELP- White film covering one of Mono's eyes

I woke up this morning to see my mono having a white film covering its left eye, i did a 40% water change straight away and have used melafix? will it spread to my other fish and what else can i do to get rid of it? please help

I believe cloudy eyes is just one of the symptoms of a dirty tank(most common)

so yeah, doing a water change was a good thing

It will get better as the water quality gets better
