kasman
I have posted before about this shubunkin I have, which has a dodgy swim bladder when it eats. Lately iv noticed after a feed it will be constantly swimming down to counter-act floating to the top. And when it gets tired it will just sit at the top taking some time out. Its been doing this alot lately. Next morning its digested its food and all is good. My concern is its maybe a bit cruel to let it go on like this, it doesnt look too happy when it is constantly fighting the floating. And I have it in a tank with other goldies, so Im not feeding the others as much as I should. Im think it might need to be put out of its misery soon. what do you think?? bidkev
Google "puncturing swim bladder". it's a long time since I've done it on anything other than fish caught in deep water, but it may help. kev
kasman
hmm, not sure I want to do any surgery hey, I was never good at that "operation" game. Think of Dr Nic from the simpsons lol! I might just let him go a bit longer. Seems like no-one thinks its worth giving him a knock on the head just yet. So he'll live another day
