bidkev Posted October 23, 2011 Report Share Posted October 23, 2011 When I first got this fish as a very small juvie I thought that it had a deformity that can be fairly common to inbred species............incomplete gillplate. Now that it's bigger, I can see that the gill is complete and am leaning towards it being damaged through netting as a fry and therefore ok to breed. Seeing as Zonata/um aren't exactly common and we have to work with what we have, I intended to breed from this fish.
