dditt
doubtful.. but it really depends on the individual fish and setup... enough hiding spots for the BN and it should be ok... but why have a fish if it has to hide all the time? Dexter
I keep an Oscar and a BN together for almost a year. Then one day feeding my Oscar I realized that the Prawns I was feeding him were bigger then my B/N. So I swiftly moved the B/N. Also I noticed I never used to see the B/N and I used to have to put the B/N's Feed inside his log. so Yes but NO! Maybe try a Bigger Pleco
dditt
yeah but you need a sizable tank for an oscar so a pleco would be fine... Just buy one small, they grow relatively slow. I had a common plec in a 4x18 for a couple of years, he got to about 30cm
ronny
Im assuming your looking for a cat to go in your 100gal as per ur signature. If so i would not recommend it, 100 gal is not that huge a volume. Exactly what size tank is it?. Your footprint may be a viable option. As has been stated it depends on the temperament of the fish. My sister has one of my old oscars and at 3yr old he is 39cm and still growing and destroys any pleco put into the tank(she has tried twice with 30-35cm plecos), yet lives peacefully with a female snook 30cm(another of my old juvies) and a male jag 30cm. Another concern would be your oscar being hurt attempting to eat a bristlenose, their spike clusters are painful to a human let alone a fish. Daharkazangel
My tank is 6 foot by 18in h and w. Think ill give up on this idea for now. My oscar is mellow for the time being.. Need to sell some fish or get more/bigger tanks I think ;D
