__CAV__
a good ole common plec or sailfin would fit the bill perfectly

Shanoz
I have a sailfin pleco (30cm) and 3 x cuckoo cats (15cm) with my big Americans (Jags,GT's, SGT's, JD's) which are up to 35cm. if you can get your hands on some decent sized cuckoo cats as they are always fun to watch in a school! They all live great and the keep the bottom very clean after the the big boys spit excess food around the place. HTH

Shanoz
I'm sure if you get some half decent sized loaches they should be ok, just remember they are slow growers so something with some size should be considered.
