brockssracer Posted October 31, 2011 Report Share Posted October 31, 2011 So I stumbled on these new air pumps that are hard wired for 240 but also contain somewhere to put batteries in so they switch over instantly during a power out and run for 10hrs on battery... litigator666 Posted October 31, 2011 Report Share Posted October 31, 2011 have 2 acdc airpump that i got from guppysaquariumproducts. seems to be reliable at stock specs, but i changed the the 6v rechargeable battery for a much bigger mah to make it last longer after serving my tank for two years. the stock battery doesn't last long, but if you'll replace it, it's a quick drop in and run again - no modification required on the case or wires. i think i just got it for $65 or lesser as it was on special.
