So i was thinking of making a few for my personal use. Just need to see a few and know what to do and what not to do. Would they work if you drilled one decent sized hole in the bottom instead of lots of tiny ones and put a piece of sponge in the bottom. JP. Bunnings or hardware store, buy the vent for a dunny, (cost ya around $6). Drill 2 holes on same side, plug with suction caps Cut bottom out & silicone on a piece of fly screen. Stick to side of tank, just above the water line, with air tubing & airstone inside..held by suction cap. Enough aeration from airstone as well as general water circulation in tank. Works a treat.
