discus_noob
Hi guys, Come across this today and thought that it was very unique and different. Not many would go down this path so I found it interesting and a refreshing change from many of the aquascapes found today; What are your thoughts on it? Obviously it is a minamalist style scape so it is left very simple and elegant however to me it is very pleasing on the eye. Adam

LeroyRiding
Wowsers, thats pretty cool, I wonder if for the last part he took the filters and all out just for the video?
discus_noob
Yes it is. Be bloody hard to use a canister filter system or a hang on that did not disturb the neatness of the sand around the lake or the lagoon.
sarah1234
It's certainly very beautiful and original. Not something I would do however.

zane
keeping the sand off the lake would be a NIGHTMARE. None the less its a really nice scape. I think the back needs to be a bit higher?
drmunroe
keeping the sand off the lake would be a NIGHTMARE... id say it was glued on prior to being submerged?
discus_noob
His comment from youtube was "No, I have no problems with the sand. 2 times a week, I trim the contours of "shore". Without the strong flow and shrimps, sand holds its shape. Two or three times I've replaced the sand completely. sorry for my english)" So it is just placed there and would be an absolute nightmare like Zane said. I have enough problems with the sand in my 40cm aquascape let alone somthing where the sand is so intricate like the above scape. Screw that haha! I agree it does need a higher background behind the moss but leave the moss background present to add a little more depth behind it. Some eleocharis would of been nice behind there
