Plant breeders in SEQLD?

Recommended Posts

There are thousands of plant growers in SE QLD. Anyone who keeps aquascaped tanks grow plants but not to the excessive amounts you can buy online aka Jeff at Liverpool Creek.

I am currently growing a range of eriocaulons including;

Eriocaulon Parkeri

Eriocaulon Sp. Red (coming next week yay!)

Eriocaulon Shiga

Eriocaulon Cinerum

Eriocaulon Setaecum

Also have growing a tonne of various crypts (about 8 different types) and HC, Rotala Mexicana Araguia, Rotala Sp Green, and large amounts of eleocharis sp belem.

I did have a massive range of plants sky high but cancelled the dutch style and stem style tanks and focused on other areas although will be back in the next three months with another crazy list of stems in the next scape in my 3 foot.

i think i've spoken to you before about plants - most of you plants required co2 & some kind of substrate fert? & i dont have either.

I'm looking for plants that aren't high maintenance - do you keep those? I only have 6 x globes (4 working atm), & liquid fertilizer.

Do you keep "easy-to-keep" plants? I live in mudgeeraba & would love to see what you have when Im back on the coast on the 9th

Yes all the aquatic plants I keep are not really low tech apart from the one tank loaded with crypts they are easy to keep and that is just one tank and none of them are for sale as I am still wanting more stock myself first. With regard to your tank yes you can easily source the above mentioned plants, it was kind of asking is there anyone who owns a car? there are hundreds of plant keepers in south east queensland and they range from various sorts of aquatic plant keeping. If you are after something easy and low tech and simple then check out aquarium life they have plenty of plants that suit your needs or go to fishchicks, aquariums alive, or liverpool creek aquariums. Fishchicks have some nice bolbitis the other month I was very keen on so go check them out.

Post a wanted up in the trader section as there are now two threads with you chasing plants with the same posts currently, but if you are more selective with what plants you require more people can readily help you out ten times easier than them saying they keep this and this and this when it might not suit your need.
