pistonbroke
Hi everyone.....hoping to learn new info and share as well. My main interest is breeding bettas. Have way too many:D But my new interest is shrimps, mainly the local ones as there are so many varieties. The one I would dearly love to find is the Barron River Zebra shrimp.....found some interesting shrimps in the Barron that no one can identify, unfortunately they weren't the zebras. Maybe someone on this forum could put a name to these guys, once I get some pics going.
DeadFishFloating
Welcome aboard Always nice to have an ID thread, and we do like pictures The interest in shrimps has had a great side effect, Australians are starting to look at their own species. Plenty of new ones to be found! Theres a few forums with seasoned australian native shrimp collectors on them. So if we get stumped in here, ya can ask around and one way or another ID threads always get finished lol Good place to breed betta is Cairms. Good weather, nice and humid for fry forests of Indian Almond and a healthy mosquito population.
