Daharkazangel
If I had a peppermint bn pair in with a sf bn pair would there be any chance of cross breeding? Also ive been breeding sf bn cats for years, how hard are peps vs sf bn cats? Do they breed as easily? Also any other tips appreciated. Would like to move away from short fin bn cats for a while and long fin and albino dont really apeal to me for some reason. Thanks and cheers! Keegan013
They have more chance breeding if they are seperated. They shouldnt cross breed I dont think theres any reports of that happening. You wouldnt want them to cross breed anyway its just not right. The pepps are harder to breed and the fry is harder to raise then commons.
Daharkazangel
Exactly, I wouldn't want them to cross breed, hence why I am asking.. thanks for the info.
Brengun
You will find one or the other male will breed and maybe the other one won't at all. Or the males may fight. I wouldn't risk it unless they are only juvies in with a pair.
Daharkazangel
So seperate tank pref. Hub by will love the idea of a new tank rofl. Think I might leave it for the time being my oscars are acting weird, think they might want to breed. Dunno. Thanks brengun for the info :-)

Brengun
No reason you couldn't add one of those expandable tank partitions. Where there's a will there's a way.
