Aldobug
How do I cap the holes in my tank? I think its easier to cap the tank and use it then try to sell it and buy a new one. Someone help me?
The Tech Den
Well if you leave the bulkheads in you can just go and buy a couple of caps from a hardware place, if not then you have to drain it down a bit and silicone glass over it. mad-n-angry
get a piece of glass same size as the tanks glass have it cut 3-4cm bigger than the hole size and silicone it over the hole eg 6mm sides use 6mm 10mm base use 10 mm just make sure both surfaces are clean and dust free then apply an even amount of silicone on either the patch peice of glass or the wall/base and press it on leave it to cure

Try to get the caps with rubber seal or use lots of thread seal tape then its east to change back if plans change FJ

The Tech Den
Did you put the cap on the outside or the inside of the bulkhead. I found that if you put it on the outside you will need the tape but then when you put it on the inside I did not need any tape at all. So try to remove the strainer then cap where the strainer was.... The other way also would be to put a elbow and pipe on the back up above the watermark but capping it would be the easiest way.
