Timmy
If you see them squash them the shrimp love to eat the remains. I have them all the time and when i see one i squash it against the glass as soon as it hits the gravel theres shrimp running from every where to eat it. Baccus
I find carrot as a bait for the snails works better and lasts longer than cucumber without making the water turn yuck.
UnexplainedWays
you can buy snail traps or there is a diy thread going around with how you can naked your own. i made my own and it does a good job. all you need is a.container with small holes and food in it. baby fish and shrimp will get in but when. when you pick it up they will scatter and the snails will remain. bidkev
Why a stainless steel screw? to sink the cucumber and so the screw doesn't rust...................no need for a bloody big fork unless you're using a bloody big cucumber
Andycumbo
Makes sense. I have always used the bottom of a 2L bottle with small holes drilled in the bottom. Tie in 2 small sinkers and attach some raw steak offcuts and the snails love it.
