Kremit
Hi guys,, where does everyone get tank bulkheads from,,, i've recently aquired 2 stands that can hold 6 2footers each, and 12 2ft tanks, and want to sump/plumb them. Just trying to find my cheapest option to put bulkheads in, ideally the threaded ones so i can put risers and strainers on them. Thanks Krem
Lucky
I got mine from a place at Springwood, it was a irrigation supplier. They were really handy and had all the items in stock. The even sold strainers etc. He even shipped as well. I can get you the details if you need them, just PM me.

woodie03
Total Eden have them. I think they have a shop at Morayfield. They can be a little pricey though. You can also check out Powell (formerly Tony Powell) at Geebung if you don't mind a bit of a drive. I would save your time and not bother with Reece. I checked their price for a 25mm bulkhead some time ago and they wanted over $25 when Total Eden wanted about $11 from memory
Ancalimon
Give Irrigation and Water Tank Systems. Irrigation equipment supplies by Wet Earth a go. The bulkheads are listed as "tank inlet" fittings. cya Graeme

fish4fish3
You've probably driven past it a dozen times - Bunnings mate!. They always have every thing I need for DIY projects here in Coffs Harbour and I know they have bulk heads of all sizes. But I've been using what's called a "V ring" and purchase them from oil seal and bearing suppliers for less than $2. They are a grommet and a good cheap substitute that I used in my IBC set up, But ask for NAK brand they are thicker and better quality.
Kremit
Yeah might just be my local bunnings, but i have checked there many times, they dont have them, spoke to a dozen different bunnings sales staff, and most of them didnt know what i was on about. Will have to look into this V ring setup,
tuffy_rana
Yeah might just be my local bunnings, but i have checked there many times, they dont have them, spoke to a dozen different bunnings sales staff, and most of them didnt know what i was on about. Will have to look into this V ring setup, bunnings at browns plains and both the ones at kuraby have them. they are in the same aisle as the black poly hose and fittings for spinkler systems. truth be told i think sometimes the staff would rather say "nah, dont think we do em" then actually have a look HTH
