i found a couple of eggs on my tank a few weeks back and popped them into another small tank with a couple of plants and an air stone, they all hatched out and survived. i've just had my corry's scatter the glass/filter/heater with eggs again. and i just did the same thing, left a few in the tank, an put some in with just an air stone and a few plants. good luck with them :)

Hey Beavis, I was thinking of your idea today, how you put the cory eggs into the lasagna dish, well I decided to hatch them myself seen as i've only been getting 1 or 2 babies. So i got a 4 litre ice cream container (had fun emptying it :P ) and half filled it with the corys tank water, placed a drop of meth.blue in it and a small air stone, managed to get about 30ish eggs...I found that when theyve been freshly laid and are still clearish they sticky and easier to get out, but once they go darker and get ready to hatch they loose their stickness so ended up having to put a fine fish net underneath them whilst s****ing them off.

Well I got them all in the container, went outside for literally 5 mins, came back and 2 had hatched, came back 1 hour later and 13 had hatched! So happy, if i'd have left them in the 4 ft they would have been eaten by the parents, even though there are loads of hiding places. Thanks Beavis, I wouldn't have given it ago if you hadn;t showed that it can be successful :D so please with it now
