Winner of diy egg tumbler

Recommended Posts

Ok everyone, it was a tight finish at the end, resulting in a threeway tie with the entries in the competition -

http://www.qldaf.com/forums/product-diy-technical-discussion-11/new-egg-tumbler-diy-instructions-61178/index5.html

It gives me pleasure to announce the winner as being sparky124578 (Marty)

for his submission being-

"Good idea my daughter has been at me to make a tumbler but I haven't yet so this will save me.But more importantly if I get this for nothing it means that I can justify a trip to Brisbane to check out the lfs ,pick up some more fish, maybe meet some fellow fish nerds n have a fishy day so that is why I want it please

Cheers Marty"

Thanks to everyone for your interest, it was fun and I hope it inspires others to push outside the envolope. Thanks also to BNJ for chosing the winner from our threeway tie.

Cheers Alan

Great submission Sparky :)

congrats

great game by the way Alan, think we should do it more often, a great way to get people into DYI...perhaps some DYI enthusists want to donate some samples, could be a good way to showcase a product, they may end up being to sell it on the forum if there is a lot of interest in it...just a thought :)

true lucky, it was a lot of fun too. at the end of the day, its all about sharing. its a good thing to try new ideas out and certainly worth thinking outside the square. I see no harm either if members have an idea and if they are'nt in a position to develope it or do the R&D, maybe share the concept and see if others can assist.

someone once said..build a better mouse trap and the world will beat a path to your door.

Dont ever be afraid to explore the possibilities. Remember, there is always a better way to build or modify anything in this world. Be creative, push the boundries and enjoy the spoils. Doing it yourself is and can be very satisfying, give it a go!

Cheers guys thanks very much Aqua will come and collect this weekend if that is good for you. Chelsea was very excited to think that someone is generous enough to spend their time to make something and then give it away. I hope that fish karma smiles upon you and I promise that I didnt pay BNJ to pick me

Thanks again Marty
